2007-12-15 hunt

We had a great hunt on opening day of the second split! There were 6 of us and we got to the field early to make sure we were the first ones there. Once we got set up we hit McDonald's for some breakfast. The action started off slow but picked up and was pretty darn steady until about 1:00 pm! It was one of my top-5 hunts ever I would say.

Easy (and free!) ringtones for your iPhone

I just ran across this fast, easy, and free way to create ringtones for your iPhone. Fortunately (or unfortunately), this is for Macs only.

1. Open GarageBand
2. Open iTunes
3. Drag the song from iTunes into a new track in GarageBand
4. Click on the 'Cycle Region' button in GarageBand (two arrows, looks like a "Refresh" symbol)
   
5. Adjust the length of the region you want as the ringtone (must be 40 seconds or less)
6. Click on 'Share' then click on 'Send Ringtone to iTunes'

That's it! Looks like a free, easy workaround for getting ringtones onto your iPhone.

Flickr updates (Stats and Uploadr 3.0)

If you folks love Flickr as much as I do, these two things will be sure to excite you! First, they have added stats to Pro accounts. You have to activate it first, but once you do, you will get graphs and stats on who has looked at your images, where their IP is geographically located, when they looked at them, your most viewed images, and so much more. They also released Uploadr 3.0 which lets users do so much more before they even upload photos such as reordering photos, tagging, picture-by-picture permissions, etc. Sweet!

I still get goosebumps every time I see or hear this rendition of my lovely Alma Mater. I was there in person that cold January afternoon after we won the national championship. Hopefully we can do it again this year!

Wife wants a Wii

My wife wants a Wii for Christmas but I can't find one ANYWHERE! When they come in stock at Amazon they go out of stock again in minutes. I guess there are worse things in life than my wife wanting a game console for Christmas!
